Both your cellphone and your Geeni Wi-Fi Camera must be in range of the Wi-Fi connection that you are using. If you are not, then there will be no Wi-Fi connection found, so move the phone and camera within range.

In some cases, there could be an issue with your Wi-Fi router. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds and plug it back in. This should fix the problem.

Front Light Not Flashing on Geeni Wi-Fi Camera

When your wi-fi camera is ready to pair, it’ll have a long blue light, followed by a short flash of blue light. It will keep repeating.

This problem is easy to fix.

  1. Look for the reset button on the Geeni camera.
  2. Put a pin into the hole to push down the reset button.
  3. Hold in place for a few seconds and your Geeni camera should make an audible beep, alternatively, the lights should start blinking on the front of the camera.

If you can’t get the camera into pairing mode, unplug it, plug it back in, and then try again.

Geeni Wi-Fi Camera Not Scanning QR Code

During the final part of the pairing process, you’ll need to hold a QR code up to your camera. It should pair right away. If not, check the following:

  1. The QR code should be 6-8 inches from the camera lens.
  2. The lights in the room should be turned on.
  3. The brightness of your cellphone screen should be all the way up.
